Folks, as told by all in many forums, we are yet another organisation trying to establish KM thru intranet portal and I have feeling we are fighting a losing battle. I have joined this forum hoping to gather some new ideas to get our people to use KM and contribute. I will be more than happy to share my learning. Cheers

I completely understand your feeling. Setting up a KMS can be quite overwhelming, and I too experienced a feeling of despondency at times when I was setting up the KMS for my organsiation.

We have learned trough over KMS project that you need to have full support from your strategic leadership in order to allocate enough ressources in the implementation stage and the ongoing knowledge management proces in discovering new knowledge, facilitating knowledge sharing, evaluating and optimizing existing knowledge.
